Today is a 7, and it would rather you were quiet
The date adds up to a 7, and 777 is the sequence that belongs to it.

Tuesday, 15 September 9 + 1 + 5 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 25, then 2 + 5 = 7 Dear Reader, The date adds up to a 7 today, and it has landed on the morning I write about the sequences that keep turning up. Those two agree more often than you'd think, because the sequence that belongs to a 7 is 777. Seven is the inward number. Solitude, study, and the things you know without being able to show your working. Answers arrive today in the bath, on the walk, in the ten minutes before sleep. Never at the desk. Seven needs the room empty before it will speak. You may not feel sociable. That's the number, not a mood you need to fix. Seven can pass for doubt from the inside. It usually isn't. It's the pause where the knowing catches up with you. Cancel something if you can. The quiet is the point. Which one is tugging at you? Tap it and an email opens, written for you. Naming it is enough.
777 is the one people write to me about after they've stopped telling anybody else. It turns up in the places you weren't reading properly. A receipt total. The mileage on a car you were about to sell. Seat 77 on a flight you nearly didn't book. The gate number when you got there. Three sevens is a 7 doing what a 7 does, three times over. It tends to arrive as confirmation rather than news, usually a week or two after somebody's made a decision privately and hasn't said it out loud yet. That is the pattern I see most in the mailbag. Not people standing at a fork in the road. People already well past it, waiting for something to tell them they were right. You don't need to keep a log of it, and counting them will only make you see them everywhere. Just note roughly when it started. Most people can put a fortnight on it, and a fortnight is usually enough to remember what they were turning over at the time. So if 777 has been following you lately, the part worth noticing sits behind the sequence: whatever you had already decided before it started. ✦ ✦ ✦ Sit with one of these Tap whichever one lands. The reply comes with the question in it.
Nothing needs saying out loud today. The knowing is already yours.
A big hug, P.S. The bath, the walk, the ten minutes before sleep. If an answer turns up in one of those, I'd like to know which one it picked.
