Today is a 9, and it would like to soften something
The ending number also softens. Plus how to work out your Personal Year.

Saturday, 26 September 2026 9 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 27 → 2 + 7 = 9 Dear Reader, Nine gets written about as the ending number. That is true, and it undersells it. It is also the number that softens. It is the one that makes you think of somebody you have not thought about in a very long time and feel, unexpectedly, no edge about it at all. A grudge you have been maintaining quietly gets lighter without anybody apologising for anything. That happens on 9 days more than anybody expects. You will be doing something unrelated, loading a dishwasher, and somebody you had filed under difficult will arrive in your head looking smaller and more tired than you remembered them. Nothing has to be done with that. You do not have to text them. Most people don't. The softening happens anyway. Nine is the number that finishes things, and a fair amount of what it finishes is your side of an argument. Which one is tugging at you?
✦ ✦ ✦ Your own chart Your Life Path never moves. Your Personal Year changes every January, and it explains more about why this one has felt the way it has than anything else in your chart. You work it out from your birth month and birth day plus 2026. Somebody born on 12 June: six, plus three, plus ten. That is nineteen, then one and nine is ten, then one and zero is one. A Personal Year 1. Then it reads like the number. A 1 starts things, often uncomfortably. A 4 is all foundations and admin and feels like nothing is happening. A 9 clears the decks, which is why people inside one keep saying they feel as though they are waiting for something. If this stretch has had a shape you cannot account for, that is usually the number. And a 9 runs out in January, whatever it has been. ✦ ✦ ✦ Work out your Life Path

Sit with one of these:
Nothing needs forgiving out loud today. A nine does that part quietly.
A big hug, P.S. If you are in a Personal Year 9, I would like to hear from you. It is the most misread one in the set.
